About Dr. Kanter

Dr. Kanter is a Diplomate of the American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (formally the American Board of Phlebology) (2008), and is also certified as a Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (2008). This means Dr. Kanter is eminently qualified to perform both diagnostic ultrasound mapping and guided treatment, enabling him to complete each patient’s course of therapy from beginning to end. Although your own personal physician’s referral is a good starting point, Internet browsing can be useful in choosing a specialist. During the course of your comparison, observe closely for a doctor’s qualifications and experience, such as:

  • Diplomate American Board of Venous and Lymphatic Medicine (American Board of Phlebology)
  • Fellow ACP
  • Local and international recognition
  • RVT (ultrasound) credential
  • American Venous Forum (AVF) member
  • Author of medical journal publications
